Emergency numbers
Tap a number to call. If a line is busy, try another.
- Tap on pipes or walls instead of shouting — it saves energy and carries farther.
- Cover your mouth with cloth so you don't breathe dust.
- When it shakes: drop, cover, and hold on. The "triangle of life" is a dangerous myth.

Donate money
Organizations with a proven track record responding to this emergency. Giving money to established groups usually arrives faster and is more useful than sending goods.
Send money
To send remittances to family inside Venezuela. Always confirm the identity of the recipient and do a small test before sending large amounts.
How to donate without scams
After a disaster, many fake campaigns and accounts appear. Take 30 seconds to verify.
- Prefer organizations with a history and a known name over brand-new personal accounts.
- Read the name carefully: scammers copy real names with tiny changes.
- Never give bank details over calls or emails you did not request.
- Check organizations on Charity Navigator, BBB Give.org, or CharityWatch before donating.
- Be wary of anyone pushing extreme urgency or asking for payment in crypto or gift cards.
